Exciting News: Financial Literacy is Coming to Schools!
We have incredible news to share! Financial literacy education is being introduced into school curriculums, marking a historic step toward empowering the next generation with essential money management skills. Enjoy Christmas Without Breaking the Bank

Let’s be real, Christmas can get expensive. But it doesn’t have to be.
Here are a few budget-friendly ideas to keep the season merry without the money stress:
Secret Santa: Agree a small budget per person and get creative with thoughtful gifts.
DIY Hampers: Fill a basket with homemade treats or pamper goodies.
Experience Gifts: Offer a day out, a movie night, or a home-cooked meal , memories beat material things every time.
Most importantly, remember: it’s not about the size of the gift, its about the reason for the season and the love behind it.
How to Financially Plan for 2026
Now is the perfect time to set yourself up for success in the new year. Here's how to get started:
1. Review your 2025
Take an honest look at your income, expenses, and financial goals from this year. What worked? What didn't? This reflection is valuable groundwork.
2. Set Clear Financial Goals
Whether it's building an emergency fund, paying off debt, saving for a home, or investing for retirement, write down specific, measurable goals for 2026.
3. Create a Realistic Budget
Use the 50/30/20 rule as a starting point: 50% for needs, 30% for wants, and 20% for savings and debt repayment. Adjust based on your unique situation.
4. Automate Your Savings
Set up automatic transfers to your savings account on payday. Pay yourself first!
5. Plan for Irregular Expenses
Don't forget annual costs like insurance, car maintenance, or subscriptions. Divide these by 12 and set aside money monthly.
6. Consider Additional Income
Could 2026 be the year you start that side hustle or ask for a payrise? Think creatively about increasing your income.
